Lantox is a botulinum toxin type A product for correcting expression lines. It temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation, so the skin is smoothed and the face looks fresher and more rested. The effect appears a few days after the procedure and usually lasts 3–6 months.
How it works
Botulinum toxin type A blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscle. The muscle relaxes and stops contracting actively, so the expression lines above it are smoothed out. Over time, neuromuscular transmission is restored and the effect gradually wears off.
